We perform the debt review process, prepare a restructure proposal for you and negotiate your proposal with your credit providers
We perform the debt review process, prepare a restructure proposal for you and negotiate your proposal with your credit providers Once we have completed the debt review, we will draft new repayment proposals for you. These proposals will be based upon your own individual circumstances and what you can afford to pay. You will be required to pay the amount in terms of the new repayment proposal to the National Payment Distribution Agency (NPDA) for the period until the proposal is approved by all your credit providers. A debit order form needs to be completed by you in favour of the NPDA. The NPDA has been accredited by the National Credit Regulator (NCR) as an approved Payment Distribution Agency. You may verify its accreditation by phoning the NCR on 0860 627 627. We will send a copy of your proposals to each of your credit providers and will commence negotiations with them to see if we can get the proposals agreed on your behalf. If all your credit providers do not accept our proposals, we will have to refer the matter to the Magistrates Court for a consent order. This process may delay the finalisation of your case. Once your proposals have been agreed by all credit providers, you continue to make payments to the NPDA until all your debts are settled. Once all your debts are settled, we send you a clearance certificate and you can look forward to a brighter financial future. |
